I was always a fan of the television series Star Trek. I attended one of the first Star Trek conventions in California when I was serving in the Navy. My girlfriend at the time and I were amazed at the people who were dressed up in various costumes. I found it literally comical, and today, Star Trek conventions have morphed into Comic Cons with people dressed up in various comic book and movie costumes. Perhaps it was doing the real life thing in the Navy that made me ask, “What is the point? It’s all pretend.”
I have never liked “pretend”, and since that time I have endeavored to be “The Real Deal”.

On September 11th, 2001, I was at MacDill AFB when the terrorist attacks in New York, Washington D.C., and the skies over Pennsylvania occurred. I was listening to the radio doing the morning paperwork when I heard that an airplane had hit one of the World Trade Center towers.
At first I thought it was a small aircraft. When I had heard that a second airplane had hit the other tower, I knew immediately that it was terrorism. I grabbed a small black and white television that we used to record pilots in our simulator and set it up in our briefing room. We had two Air Force reserve pilots in the simulator at the time. Both of them flew for the airlines involved and they came out of the simulator immediately calling people they knew.
Together we watched the towers fall.
A few days later the clickbait artists were on the Internet selling bullshit Nostradamus prophecies that they had cobbled together.
By that time, I had 22-years into studying and trying to decode Nostradamus’ prophecies. Knowing of my interest and expertise, my project officer came into my office with a printout of the forged clickbait. He asked me if they were real. I immediately recognized them as fakes.
On September 27th, 2001, I realized that I had to fight the conartists. Some people have no shame, and this is why some people consider me ornery as I have fought the hucksters on the Internet for the last 24-years.
And so G. A. Stewart was born.
